Battle Bugle: (20 Points) [+1 Power] This power allows the re’em to release a trumpet of sound capable of piercing the ear drums of his opponents within a five foot radius.
Aura Reading: (40 Points) [+2 Power] A Red re’em can sense his opponent’s physical weakness by watching the shift in colors of his aura. Note, while useful, this can be distracting during a fight!
Rending: (40 Points) [+2 Power] This power allows the re’em to use his opponent’s aura against himself, to force it into him to create physical wounds. The re’em must be less than a foot away from his opponent to use this gift. It not only opens the re’em up to being harmed, but increasingly drains power from the re’em as he uses it. The gift must thus be used sparingly.

Psychic Wave: (50 Points) [+3 Power] This power allows the re’em to expel a mental wave of pure pain out from himself, disabling all persons within a ten foot radius for several minutes. This power may be used only once within a day long period.
Prerequisite: Aura Reading
Aaron was born to a re'em couple living in upstate New York. While not particularly interesting, they were horribly traditional. The pair had not been a love match, both having elected to have the local counselor assist them with matchmaking. Counselors did not force or arrange marriages of course, they merely had the most knowledge of local re'ems and the most contact with other communities. Counselors would act, essentially as a dating service, a role that has yet to be entirely over taken by the internet, due to concerns regarding secrecy. Ragardless, their marriage was based on convenience, and color, which ultimately tended to be the strongest divider, what with the inability to have children with one of the same hue. This trick ultimately led to the couple having three children of their own, two girls and one boy.
The family, being traditional and in many ways stereotypical, fell along traditonal gender roles, mother and daughters white, and father red. The youngest of the brood, little Aaron, would have had a hard time not choosing red. His father, long outnumbered, had been desperate for some testosterone in the house. Aaron cannot remember when he started training, though the joke used to be that he was still in his bouncy chair. At eight, he was sent to Israel to attend a red camp, despite being a bit on the young side. By the time Aaron was thirteen, he'd attended every summer, and knew more about war games, martial arts, and weaponry than most non-re'em men, and a fair number of re'em besides, and certainly more than almost any boy who's voice had not cracked yet. At thirteen, his Choice was no surprise. It truly would never have occurred to him to select white. No, he transformed into a pale cinnamon colored colt, almost gold in the highlights and very similar to the Akhal-Teke.
Aaron continued attending red camps in the summer, finding his schooling in the human world dull by comparison, though he did excel at sports. He attended a private charter school, and was widly observed to be the strong silent type. Some children found his strong sense of privacy cold, unwelcoming, but anyone that had seen him smile knew that he had a warm heart, you just needed to get to know him better. Indeed, he has a surprising streak of humor that, entirely unexpected, tends to catch people off gaurd. The only school subject he did well in was history, and that was because history could always be traced from one conflict to another. He even enjoyed studying the politics involved, and would have attended a military college had he not gone to Israel to finish his studies among his own kind.
Aaron, now often referred to as Arrow, spent the next several years studying and training, until graduating and joining the re'em equivalent of the elite special forces. For Aaron, the security and secrecy of his people were absolutely paramount. Perhaps to an outsider this might seem a limited purpose in life, potentially a sad and lonely one to boot, but then, to an outsider, perhaps the statute of secrecy would seem unduly restrictive or unfair. He has never questioned the re'em way of society, their rules, their community, which is probably all for the better. The elite fighters are often asked to do things that might be considered repugnant, all in the name of secrecy. They specialize in secrecy, infiltration, and where needed, elimination.
The re'em way of life is simple, and in many ways black and white. You are born re'em, and your life will always be with the re'em. You marry re'em and have re'em babies. If you're lucky, you might even find love with a re'em, but you will always have friendship and community. You die a re'em. In it's own way, it is beautiful, and should be cherished. Aaron has not really thought much about the marriage and kids bit, to be honest, and much to his father's chagrin. As the only son, the family name is his to continue. Still, Aaron has never been one to focus on the opposite sex He's always had laser focus and tunnel vision, on the sport, on winning, on training, on the mission, on protection, dating just never seemed to be on the table. Considering the need to find a white re'em to settle down with, well, it would have taken some actual effort to go the family route, especially as he had spent the majority of his adult life around red re'em. He's not too concerned, though. If he does nothing but protect his people until his dying day, he would consider it to be an honor.
Aaron wold have been perfectly content spending the next decade or so traveling the world with his team on one mission or another, but sometimes fate plays tricks. Aaron was injured during mission in Beijing. While he has largely recovered, he has been removed from active duty until such time that it is known whether his identity remains protected and that he has returned to peak strength. Not desiring to be stuck at a desk job, Aaron put in for a transfer, and now finds himself the enforcer for the district in and around Boston. The old enforcer had retired some years ago, and no one had put in for the position.
Having spent most of his life in Israel, Aaron has always been used to the strict adherence the rules, leading to a surprisingy chaste life, but then, he never felt lonely either. He knows, on some level, that things are a bit more lax the farther they get from the Counsel, but in pratice, well, he's likely in for some surprises.
