South Boston, affectionately known as 'Southie' is home to Dorchester Heights, where George Washington forced British troops to evacuate during the American Revolutionary War. In addition to being home to some of the oldest housing projects in the United States, South Boston has also more recently seen property values join the highest in the city.

A beautiful, 3 story building complete with a full size gymnasium with public equipment, multiple rooms and types of exercise equipment in both public and more privacy friendly areas, areas set aside for yoga and the arts, and a separate part of the building that holds an indoor Olympic swimming pool with a lifeguard on duty during the day light hours. There are special 'VIP' access rooms where lycanthropes, vampires, and other supernaturals are catered to and closed off from regular people if they so choose. Classes are offered in general fitness, health awareness, several self defense courses, yoga, and many others. It's open from the break of dawn to exactly 7 pm on the week days and 9 pm during the weekends.

An unassuming dark storefront hides the creative mind that is Florence Moore and his fantastic clothing. The store itself is mostly comprised of fabric, thread, and everything you need for embroidery and creating of the finest qualities as well as some of the cheaper things. It is mostly a specialty shop though so expect to find items here that you wouldn't in a normal crafts store. The rest of the store is devoted to the clothing that Florence turns out. Much of it is for sale as is in different sizes but he also takes requests for items as well as doing repair work on clothing. He's a bit of a jack of all trades when it comes to sewing and embroidery work. Normal hours aren't followed here. The business is simply open whenever Florence happens to decide to be there and for however long he wants, though there is also an online store people are encouraged to shop from and send requests through.

Yggdrasil is a bar/eatery that is a historically accurate rendition of an authentic Viking Hall with a large tree (possibly the only one in existence in South Boston) that grows right through where the throne sits, and it appears that the throne, very Norse in appearance, has been carved into the tree which is still very much alive. There are wooden tables and benches covered in animal furs, shields hanging on the walls, and the employees are dressed of the period. Mead is made out of house the old fashioned way and served in drinking horns, the food is authentic and served with period cutlery. All wolves eat free. Business hours are: Sun - Thurs: 11 am - 10 pm, Sat: 11 am - 11 pm.

Located on W. Broadway, this little pub has been around since 1990. Where it started out as a bit of a rough spot to be. As the years changed so did it, becoming more of a traditional Irish pub. Today it’s a tidy, more mellow place to come have a drink, watch a game, order a grilled burger and fries. Weekends tend to see it with a younger crowd and some loud house music. Upstairs is a spacious studio apartment that the owner lives in.
